WHAT ARE YOUR FEES
Standard session (50-60min): $200
Longer session (80-90min): $275
Rebates
If you have been referred under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) by your GP you can receive a rebate of $92.90 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. If you are referred for eating disorder treatment you may access up to 40 rebated sessions per calendar year.
Payments and rebates can be processed on the spot at the end of each session.
When an appointment is booked, an hour spot is reserved for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment please provide adequate notice (>24hrs).
For less than 24 hours' notice (including non-attendance) a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the consultation fee applies.
Any subsequent appointments will not take place until cancellation fees are settled. Please note there is no Medicare rebate available on cancellation fees
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST VISIT?
In your first appointment I will work with you to discuss your reason for referral and current hopes for therapy. Most of the first session will act as an assessment as well as exploring treatment options and collaboratively deciding on a treatment plan.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO SEE A PSYCHOLOGIST?
You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist however, you may be eligible for a medicare rebate if you are referred by your GP with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
If you would prefer to attend privately (not under a MHCP) you may be able to receive a rebate if you hold private heath insurance. Please discuss this with your insurer.
